When you invest in your wedding day, you deserve more than great photos. You deserve a photographer who has done this enough times to make the whole day feel easy - someone who anticipates, adapts, and shows up already knowing what to do. Here's what that looks like in practice:
I move through your wedding quietly and intentionally - close enough to catch everything, unobtrusive enough that you forget I'm there.
I'm not a fly on the wall, and I'm also not a film director. I'm somewhere in between: a calm, creative presence who knows how to guide the portraits, the details, and the family formals and how to get everything done efficiently - so we can get back to enjoying the day and letting it unfold.
Most couples tell me they're not "photo people" and that's totally OK. The vast majority of us aren't (those that are are usually pro models!!)
By the end of the day, you'll forget I'm there - and that's exactly when the best photos happen.
I'll give you gentle direction when we need it, but my job is to make you feel like yourselves, not like you're performing.
Nothing matters more to you than the experience of the day, specifically for the people you've brought together - and I treat their experience like it's part of my job, because it is.
I don't want to be directing the day & dictating what happens when, I want to be documenting it.
I want both you and your guests to look back on your photos with fond memories of those moments, not to remember me.

Photography has brought me all over the Bay Area, back home to New Mexico, and to Vermont! I've even been to a wedding photography workshop in Lake Como, Italy! I can't wait to see where I go next.

Once you've signed your contract, you'll be able to pay via credit or debit card or bank transfer. All of this will be sent to you via a secure client portal.
After your session, I will go home and immediately backup your photos to 3 separate hard drives. I use 3 different brands to avoid any faulty parts or malfunctions. I also keep one in a fire-safe container at all time to ensure that nothing happens to your photos!
For full wedding-days, couples typically spend $7550 and up to 10 hours of coverage from 2 photographers.
For SF City Hall elopements, couples spend an average of $4200 and have 3 hours of coverage.
Smaller sessions, like engagements or family sessions, typically spend $950 - $1500 and have 1 hour of coverage.
To reserve your date, all I need is a signed contract & a retainer payment!
For weddings - there is a 50% retainer payment, 25% is due at the halfway point between signing and your event, and the remaining 25% is due 30-days prior to your event.
For elopements - there is a 50% retainer payment and the remaining balance is due 30-days prior to your event.
For all other session types, there is a 50% retainer payment and the remaining balance is due 7 days prior to your session.
As soon as possible! My schedule can fill up months to years in advance so the earlier the better.
